Lapatet Swahili:

KSH 11988

Details

Mid-foot landing: 6mm heel to toe drop. Extra cushioning: 24mm high-rebound EVA under the forefoot. Lightweight: Just 8.8oz or 251 grams in a Men's 8.5 or Women's 10. For this latest colorway, we looked to traditional clothing from across the great diversity of Kenyan cultural groups for inspiration. Swahili is a Bantu-speaking community from coastal Kenya. For centuries Bantu, Arab, Indian, and Portuguese traders worked the East African coast. Interaction between these communities on the East African coast gave birth to Swahili. Predominantly Muslim, Swahili women customarily wear a black buibui (cloak) and men a white kanzu (tunic). It is from this palette that we made our shoes. For a majority of people, the Endas are true to size.
